Seven Years of PMDD. Two Children. A Marriage on the Edge.

Lainey is a 36-year-old yoga teacher & stay-at-home mum in the United States. What started as what she thought was postpartum depression after the birth of her second child never fully resolved. She Had Tried Everything She Knew. Nothing Got to the Root.

Lainey had worked through multiple approaches.

  • Birth control pills & hormonal IUD
  • Individual therapy & couples counselling
  • Meditation & mindfulness from her yoga background
  • Elimination diets

Antidepressants helped slightly but didn't touch the cyclical rage. Birth control made symptoms worse. Therapy gave coping skills but didn't prevent the episodes. Even her yoga practice couldn't override what was happening hormonally. Nothing addressed root causes.
